Algae Paste 4 Species Marine is an excellent high density & high-quality Australian marine microalgae. These algae are grown, harvested and cared for at our facility in Victoria. The pastes are made weekly, or we can make quantity on-demand for our breeders and hatchery owners.

Furthermore, we have all the equipment in-house to ensure you get the best and freshest product on the market.

Finally, we have 2 x centrifuges, 1 x production (flow-through) centrifuge, 1 x 120L autoclave, 1 x horizontal flow through laminar bench (clean bench), 1 x horizontal flow through laminar storage cabinet.

MicroMagic algae Paste can feed your SPS Corals, Rotifers, Copepods, Amphipods, Isopods, Brine Shrimp, Daphnia Shrimp, and many other critters and cultures. The range from very 2um to 8um flagella size makes it easy for all ages of cultures to consume whatever you feed it to.

MicroMagic Algae Paste is made from MicroMagic marine phytoplankton. MicroMagic is a nutritious mixture of four Phytoplankton strains. Therefore, it is great for feeding copepods, corals, clams, and other filter-feeding inverts. Therefore, this algae paste is a hand-selected blend of some of the most nutritious Phytoplankton strains available.

What’s In Algae Paste 4 Species Marine?

MicroMagic Algae Paste consists of our blend of four Phytoplankton species:

“NANNO”

This is one of the strains in the algae paste. It is a tiny green alga that consumes several nitrogen waste compounds, including ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates. As a result, Nano helps if you have an overfeeding problem. Furthermore, this strain may help with new critters in your tank. It can also help if you want to reduce the frequency of water changes.

“TETRA”

With a rich and varied amino/ fatty acid profile, this strain in the algae paste provides a very nutritional feed for your marine life. Furthermore, large aquaculture facilities commonly use this strain. This is due to its highly nutritional makeup.

“ISO”

This complex brown algae is high in DHA and often enriches zooplankton such as copepods and brine. Dosing your tank with this strain will also boost zooplankton and copepod levels. This component of the algae paste will also help with the development, colouration, and resilience of your marine life. Above all, oysters, clams, mussels, and scallops all love this strain!

“THAL”

This algae strain is the largest strain of phytoplankton we offer. As a beneficial diatom, this alga consumes silicates, restricting the growth of harmful dinoflagellates and silicates.

Suggested feeding Directions

Add 5ml per 1.25L (HCS E-Book has more specific dosage information)

• Spot-feed SPS corals and inverts to maximize growth
• All filter feeders will enjoy fresh paste with the additives like others (caking agents, ash, preservatives etc.)
• Use to feed Aquatic Live Food’s live copepods, amphipods, and rotifers to establish or maintain a healthy zooplankton population in your tank.

Storage

• Store in freezer
• Mix only what you need for seven days and store mixed in the fridge. (it will be good for 7-10 days)
• Stored frozen will last two years.
• Don’t freeze and thaw and refreeze too many times.

Storage suggestion:

This product comes with a Silicone Mini Food Grade Ice Tray

The paste sent frozen normally defrosts, so it is best to put the paste into the tray and freeze.

Put the frozen cubes into a snaplock bag, so the cubes do not get freezer burn.

When ready to use the paste, put one cube per 1.25L into your tank.
