Our Freshwater Daphnia Eggs are Australian grown and bred. There is nothing like these eggs on the Australian market. Furthermore, once hatched, they are an excellent feed for all freshwater fish, axolotls’, Betas & killifish. I have even seen these being fed to juvenile and small marine fish. For best results, feed them our Freshwater MicroMagic mix or our freshwater paste.

Instructions:

Open the capsule and place it in chlorine-free water (bottled or RO water). Secondly, lightly aerate the container/ tank and in 3 days you will have daphnia babies. Thirdly, feed them our Freshwater MicroMagic 4 species of live algae as they really love it. Or culture your own live algae for them. You can try any of these, phytoplankton; Chlorella vualgaris, Anabaena variabilis, Haematococcus pluvialis or Scenedesmus. Or, you can try a quality microalgae (phytoplankton) paste or powder.
