This kit is guaranteed to excite kids of all ages 5+ as they watch and learn the fascinating process of the plankton life cycle! Once hatched, Triops are an excellent feed for all freshwater fish. The Triops Kit is slightly more complex, has more components, and is great for kids who want more of a challenge!

Triops species available to choose from include:
- T. australiensis – need warm water hatching and growing between 25°C-30°C
- T. cancriformis – need water around 15°C-20°C and the hatching time will take more than the average 24-36hours. (T.australiensis 24 hours.)
- T. longicaudatus – need water around 15°C-20°C and hatching time will take more than average 24-36hours
- T. red longicaudatus – need water around 15°C-20°C and hatching time will take more than average 24-36hours
- T. newberryi – need water around 15°C-20°C and hatching time will take more than average 24-36hours
Some products to consider purchasing along with your kit are:
