Description
Aquatic Live Food now has Australian freshwater Rotifer eggs available for the freshwater aquarium keepers and fish breeders. Our lab collected rotifer eggs that are clean and free of any virus, bacteria, infections or disease. Secondly, freshwater rotifers have never been in the same water as fish so our eggs will not and do not contain any fish diseases as others could. Finally, these freshwater rotifer eggs are easy to culture and instructions are available for download from the link below on this page. Freshwater rotifers are very small 20um – 100um in size. These freshwater rotifers feed on our MicroMagic 4 species of freshwater microalgae. Our rotifers will be consumed by a wide variety of freshwater fish.
Furthermore, freshwater Rotifers are one of the live food organisms used worldwide for the mass production of larval fish. Rotifers are small (50-1000 µm) zooplankton that occur in freshwater, brackish, and marine environments. Our freshwater rotifers are easy to culture if you want ongoing food for Fish-fry, Shrimp, Bettas, Killifish or any small-mouthed fish.
There are two “0” size capsules full of freshwater rotifer eggs, each containing 300-500 eggs.
