These lab cultured Rotifers are clean and free of any virus, bacteria, infections or disease unlike any possible wild-collected Rotifers and they do not contain any fish diseases as others could. Our Rotifers are small 50-100µm in size. These freshwater rotifers feed on our MicroMagic 4 species of freshwater microalgae. Our rotifers will be consumed by a wide variety of tropical fish.

These Australian cultured Freshwater Rotifers can tolerate temperatures between 8 to 26°C. In their natural environment. They thrive in waters of various ionic compositions. The optimal pH is 6-8 at 25°C, minimum oxygen levels are 1.2 mg. Free ammonia levels of 3 to 5 mg.
